Job Description:
We are looking for someone with experience as an Agribusiness Merchandiser.
A large Agribusiness company located in Nebraska is looking for an experienced Merchandiser to complement our growing business domestically and internationally. The Merchandiser would be responsible for procurement, storage, and sales of soy and related products, will contract with farmer/producers for products and specialty crop acreage, and promotes customer relations and coordinates efforts with various departments within company.
The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in originating, managing, and coordinating incoming logistics inventories and origination for various plant operations. The Merchandiser will educate, motivate, and assist originators in the area of increasing volumes through farmer interactions and origination. We are looking or experience in developing, promoting and managing specialized farmer/producer contracts and marketing plans. The candidate should be well versed in evaluating markets and competition to set and adjust prices.
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, economics or finance.
2. 5 to 10 years of experience in originating, managing, and coordinating incoming logistics inventories and origination for various plant operations.
3. Experience in developing, promoting and managing specialized farmer/producer contracts and marketing plans.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
